Nu Bop
   Matthew Shipp (piano)
   Daniel Carter (saxophones, flute)
   William Parker (bass)
   Guillermo Brown (drums)
   FLAM (synths)

Nu Bop is Shipp's follow up recording to New Orbit.  Once again, he is stretching the limits of jazz conventions by combining electronics and techno-rhythms with the more traditional language of free jazz.  The result works on a number of levels, but come to this disc with an open ear.

Comes highly recommended.
