Spring Heel Jack (aka John Coxon + Ashley Wales) return with a recording the Wire says may be the "Innovative Jazz Recording of the Year."  And we couldn't agree more.  It's been one year since their first prodigal release, Masses.  They've slowed the pace down and opened up the sound this time with an all-star cast of Europe's finest improvisors to once again challenge the definition of jazz.

Comes with our highest recommendation.
