Jumbo Recordings
"using a Duke Ellington composition as a model for the next thousand years will not work."-- Anthony Braxton

Jumbo Recordings, from mr. dorgon, are as unique as their packaging; living quite comfortably up to their braxton-borrowed vision statement.  Some serious improv music for the soul that is cutting edge even by NYC standards...its birthplace.  Although dorgon claims to be blind, most believe he is only clumsy... maybe so, but his music is anything but clumsy...and the price is certainly righteous.  Some of the most soulful improv on media.

Give ol' dorgon a chance here and support his music....heck, the hand drawn packaging on some of these projects (not shown here due to its fragility) is worth something.  Listen to the extended clips and then decide.  Easy secure ordering information at bottom of page.
