Mar features dorgon on c-melody saxophone and laura cromwell on drums.  Closest dorgon has come to a legitimate release with a collection of music recorded in various NYC honky tonks and other juke joints.  Packaging features a real jewel box with the usual collection of odd pieces of paper.  57 minutes of dorgon soul on 18 tracks.

"Cromwell's drumming is ostensibly artless, shrewdly anti-jazz.  The duo's aphoristic style has a folkloric pithiness light years away from the scorching virtuosity with which John Coltrane and Rashied Ali defined the terms for this instrument."  -- The WIRE
