William Parker

Without a doubt, the finest jazz poetry project to come along in a very long while.  Featuring the beautiful poetry of David Budbill whose words come from what the Taoists call Wu-wei, spontaneous action in accordance with one's own nature.  And for fans of William, well all we can say is that this may be his finest recorded performance.   With a great bonus of hearing William also perform on the Gralle, the Shaquuhichi, pocket trumpet, valve trombone.

This is a 2-CD set with almost 2 hours of pure meditation in poetry and music.
