One for Jazz
   Frank Lowe (tenor saxophone)
   Billy Bang  (violin)
   Ed Schuller (bass)
   Abbey Raider (drums)

Lowe and Bang made jazz infamy with the late Denis Charles in their 1970's group, The Jazz Doctors.  On this recording, Lowe and Bang pay tribute to their old friend by playing some serious music.   It is fortunate for all of us that they selected one of the strongest rhythm sections around in Schuller and Raider.  These guys debuted this group at Vision Fest in 1998 and folks are still talking about what went down that night.  Comes highly recommended.
