Six
of One Soprano saxophone solos recorded by the master of the form in 1980 in St. Judes on the Hill. Originally issued as a long out of print Incus LP, the cd features a seventh track not on the original release. There is very little that needs be said about this disc, except to say that is it comes with our highest recommendation! 7 tracks in 55:46 minutes If you missed this cd, you might also enjoy listening to: Lines Burnt In Light (Evan Parker) Live At Unity Temple (Steve Lacy) A Survivor's Smile (Gary Hassay) Chicago Solo (Evan Parker) Spectral Soprano (Lol Coxhill) Ayn Le-Any (Assif Tsahar) Places to Go (Jack Wright) The Eighth House: Riding with Pluto (Harrison and Santos) The Grass Is Greener (Parker and Bennink) |
