The Holshouser Trio's music lives somehwere between Kurt Weill's Threepenny Opera and Nino Rota's music for A Man And A Woman.   This NYC-based group has a distinctly Euopean sound, or as the New York Times put it, their music sounds like it comes from some Felini movie you might have missed.   You can make of this what you like, but the music is honest, open, and definately worth a listen.  Never hurts to remember that music can be fun.
