Metslawier III

Metslawier

Luc Houtkamp (alto and tenor saxophones)
   Johannes Bauer (trombone)
   Carl G. Beukman (bass)
   Gert-Jans Prins (drums)

One of the best examples of Europe's free jazz sound of the mid-90s.  This group has worked together in various incarnations for over a decade and the music is as tight as you would expect.  Hard driving throughout without being tiresome reflecting a deep understanding of the need for space in music.

Comes with our highest recommendation.
