X-OR Records

From Luc Houtkamp and Wiek Hijmans, the Dutch record label X-OR is named after a logical term by the British mathematician George Boole, whose Booliam logic laid the bases of the digital world of computers.  The logical term, X-OR means: a combined statement is true if only one of the two propositions is true.  In other words, you can only have a slice of bread with marmalade or one with chocolate, and not one with marmalade and chocolate.  As a metaphor for the record label, the term stands for the choice of clear and radical, uncompromising music.
