Konk Keith Hedger (trumpet) Curt Newton (drums) Nat McBride (bass) Charlie Kohlhase (alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones) Whew, why has it taken these guys five years to get back together. The fire is burning hot here. Hedgers' trumpet playing is strong as ever and Charlie Kohlhase is one of the strongest sax players working...beautiful complement to one another. And, of course, what would you expect with a rhythm section of McBride and Newton keeping the music moving along. Let's hope its not another five years for their next recording.
