To our ears, one of the finest Vandermark records!  These three guys have been performing together for over a decade and it is oh so evident here.  This project takes its inspiration from Don Cherry's seminal work, Complete Communion.  Styled after the approach Cherry used 30 years ago with Gato Barbieri, Eddie Blackwell, and Henry Grimes along with some very tasty McBride compositions, this project is the foundation that Vandermark is working off today.   Not to be missed.
