And William Danced  Crew's Choice Selection
   William Parker (bass)
Hamid Drake (drums, frame drum, vocals)
   Anders Gahnold (alto saxophone)

Recorded in a Stockholm studio in April 2002, this recording captures William and Drake during a lighter moment working with Swedish horn player, Anders Gahnold.  Anders led a sensational trio with Johnny Dyani and Gilbert Matthews back in the early 80s and it is great to hear him back in the studio here for the first time since Dyani's death.  Collaborating here with the Drake/Parker rhythm machine, the result absolutely swings with joy.  Just picture the title and you can hear the music.

Comes with our highest recommendation.
