Facing East is John Wubbenhorst's first CD
from Facing East Productions. Released in 1998, it has been featured on the
nationally syndicated radio shows, Echoes and Music From Hearts of Space. This
69-minute CD interweaves exotic bansuri flute melodies with captivating, rhythmic
patterns, raga tonal structures, and the harmonic sounds of Western music to create a
uniquely captivating recording that is both exhilarating and meditative...somewhere
between the east and west. Also, features master tabla player, Sandip Burman. Selected clips: East Wind Purnima Morning Gopis |
