Afternoons
   Jeb Bishop (trombone)
   Kent Kessler (bass)
   Tim Mulvenna (drums)
   Jeff Parker (guitar)

Jeb Bishop's second release with his trio of Kessler and Mulvenna.  This time they are joined by one of Chicago's hottest young guitar players, Jeff Parker.  The result swings loud, soft, fast, and slow from the opening notes...never forgetting their roots, this group is pushing the edges of tomorrow's jazz in their playing and compositions.  Comes highly recommended.
