Penumbra Music

Penumbra Music was founded by author, visual artist, and composer/performer Hall Rammel in 1994.  The label includes many of his own recordings as well as works by other musical experimentalists, improvisers, and sound artists.  All recordings feature the artists in intimate solo or duet settings where there is plenty of space for improvisational development.  All Penumbra releases are hand crafted, limited editions.
