Nessa Records

From Chuck Nessa, this venerable classic label has been around since 1967, through the ups and downs of the music business, and we are very proud to have it here on Drimala.  Nessa Records began with a young Chuck Nessa recording Lester Bowie, Roscoe Mitchell, Malachi Favors, and the Art Ensemble (prior to the geographical reference).  In the last several years, the Chuck has been slowly reissuing his catalogue on cd and we have everything that is available.  We'll add to the list as Chuck re-releases his classic material in cd format.  Everything here comes with our highest recommendation and is worth owning.
