Slamadam CD Cover

Slamadam
Michael Moore (alto and bass saxophone, clarinet)
   Wolter Wierbos (trombone)

Ernst Reijseger (cello)
   Mark Dreser (bass)
   Gerry Hemingway (drums)

Culled from the recordings of three different tours by this all star quintet, Slamadam comes very close, if that is possible, to capturing the energy and intensity of a live new music concert.  The combined performance of these works creates a vehicle for an extended solo statement by each member of the quintet.  Comes with our highest recommendation.  One of the few occasions we happen to be in agreement with Down Beat.

"...a smokin' live set like this just reminds us that the real deal is had when they take it to the stage." – Down Beat 5 Stars – Excellent
