Shadows of Ancient Dreams

Shadows of Ancient Dreams from Gerry Errante was released in 1997, this recording is an evocative work that combines digital effects processing technology with a variety of exotic instruments that Gerry has collected in his travels.  By combining sound from such diverse instruments as an mbira from Zimbabwe, a didjeridu from Australia, a shakuhachi from Japan, and the khlui from Thailand with his clarinet, Gerry creates a gentle ambience that establishes an atmosphere of memory and dream.
