Plastinated Black Sheep
Adam Pieronczyk (tenor and soprano saxophones)
   Ed Schuller (bass)
   Jacek Kochan (drums)

From three of the hardest working itenerate international jazz musicians, this recording seamlessly melds the many backgrounds and influences of its members.  Kochan has recorded with folks like Kenny Wheeler and John Abercrombie.  Schuller, son of conductor and composer Gunther Schuller, has recorded with folks like Jaki Byard, Steve Lacy, Tim Berne, and Billy Bang.  While Pieronczyk has worked with folks like Archie Shepp, Ted Curson and David Friesen.

The music of this trio is deep, mature, free of rivalry, has undeniable power of expression...as the liner notes say, "this music draws one towards an intimate tete-a-tet with the soul."

Comes with our highest recommendation.
