His rich and varied background includes extensive training in jazz, western classical flute, and the music of world cultures. For the past 15 years, John has embarked on an in-depth study of the classical Indian raga forms with some of Indias great master musicians, culminating in years of intensive studies as both a disciple and accompanist with Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, master of the Indian bansuri. |
