Age
of Everything Joe Morris (guitar) Timo Shanko (bass) Luther Gray (drums) Age of Everything marks a breakthrough in the extensive discography of Joe Morris. Marking time with unique inventions of rhythmic and melodic precision, Morris leads the way on this recording to an altogether new place in the history of the guitar and the jazz trio. Anchored by the phenomenal playing of Timo Shanko on bass and Luther Thomas on drums, Age of Everything works like a suite that grooves hard and sings with a collective driving soulfulness, the most modern kind of energy, and a timeless depth of spirit. Released in a limited edition of 2000 copies, this disc comes with our highest recommendation. 4 tracks in 54:05 minutes :::>>> Tell A Friend About This CD From Drimala If you like this cd, you might also enjoy listening to: Deep Telling (Morris and DKV) Elsewhere (Joe Morris Ensemble) Antennae (Morris, McBride, Deupree) Soul Search (Morris and Maneri) Amen (Keith Yaun Quartet) Big Top (Whit Dickey Quartet with Joe Morris) |
