Contact the Artists

The artists represented on Drimala Records are part of a small community of highly creative artists that manage to find audiences for their music in spite of the great overwhelming odds against doing so. Many represent themselves, while others rely on the help of friends who just have a love for the music and do what they can to promote a cause they believe in.

As a result, there are a couple of very good places to go to find more information about the artists, their upcoming concerts, and booking information. Trust us, having been there, done that...you'll get better service here than if you were dealing with a major agency, because everyone is in it for the pure love of the music. So, if any of this is helpful, try one of the sites below. We think you'll appreciate the personal service you'll receive.

We are adding to this list as new artists and friends join the Drimala family. So check back every now and then if you are looking for additional information.

Drimala	You can always contact us if you are looking to get in touch with any of the artists on Drimala Records. Some like Kidd are very easy to find, some like Joel are not quite so easy to find, and others like John Blum are not yet electronically plugged in. We are not a booking agency, but if you would like to talk with them personally, we'll try to arrange it.
Jazz Visions	Joel, Kidd, or Alvin...Many of you know Michael from his photos, but did you also know that he is booking concerts these days. He is very well connected to the jazz scene in this country and can be extremely helpful in arranging dates for The Joel Futterman/'Kidd' Jordan Trio with Alvin Fielder.
Martin Nichols	Joel, Kidd, or Alvin...Martin is host of the very popular jazz show on KUGS FM at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Martin has recently started booking the trio internationally and is very active in their promotion. Currently, Martin can be reached by voice at 360-676-2286, or email at [email protected].
DbopsMusic	Gary Hassay...Gary is based in Allentown, Pennsylvania and works primarily throughout the Northeast of United States. He likes to handle his booking arrangements. Gary is more than willing to talk with you about an artistic endeavor, particularly if you are interested in an interdisciplinary performance.
Toshi	Toshi Makihara...Toshi is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and handle his booking arrangements. He has several different groups that he regularly performs with. Best to go to his web sites and find out what he has going at any given time.
Gerry	F. Gerard Errante...Gerry is based in Norfolk, Virginia and handles his booking arrangements. An extremely active performer on the international concert stage, Gerry tends to stay booked at least a year in advance. Need to talk with him well in advance of your dates.
