8th Harmonic Breakdown

From Chicago, an excellent boutique label conceived and established to support, produce, and record music that is creative, challenging, and spiritual  Founded in improvised music with a focus on cross-cultural and cross-genre collaborations, all it takes is a quick scan of the artists on the label to understand what is going on here.  Especially interesting is a rare chance to hear Pulitzer prize winning poet, Yusef Komunyakaa, backed by some of Chicago's finest jazz musicians...reinvigorating the tradition of jazz and poetry collaborations.  You will definately want to check out this little gem of a label.

9/06/03:   We have sold out of 8th Harmonic Breakdown.  Please check out some of the other excellent labels on this website.
